Park Forest Middle School Reviews

i love this school it is the best with the best teacher

This is the most best school I ever went to.

My grandson goes to Park Forest'. I can't say much about the teachers and aids in the self contained class rooms. Last year ther was no comunication with teacher. These are special children and they need all the help they can get. Teachers with this kind of attitude does not need to be on our system just drawing a pay check.I can only speak for this one teacher ther is some good ones

Unfortunately this school has declined a lot in the last 3 or 4 years. I had two children to attend at separate times over the years. The academic program is horrible and the leadership is worst. There are some good teachers there and I truely feel for them. Most parents cant afford private schools and are forced to send their children to schools such as this one. The administrators should be retrained. Parents are not encouraged to be involved. I would make trips to the office to check on my child and my presence was not even acknowledged. This happened more than once. I would not recommend this school.

I attended Park Forest Middle it was the best time ever! When I got to high school( I attend Baton ROuge High School now ) I was totally prepared! There were numerous extracurricular activities and school dances, talent shows, motivational speakers etc. The teachers were alway very helpful though our resources were kind of limited. The students learned more because ther were lots of hands on activities. There was not as much parent involvement as there should have been but the teachers took care of mostly everything.I think it's an excellent school though it may have some flaws but what school doesn't? Any student would be lucky to go there.
