“If it was'nt for the gifted & talented programs brookstown would be another schoool that's failed the system. Aside from the magnet program the other kids not getting extra help are really in trouble. Gifted & talented program are great hooray what about the rest of the kids. My kids no longer go there and i'm still concerned for those 'left behind' or those yet to come please begin to teach as if each child was your own.”

“Both my children are from another state. We just got into the program I am expecting great things. WE work hard. Just to have the program in place is a blessing for us.It means more qualified people will now help my two great grand children to accomplish and achieve what they need and are capable of, to be high achievers. “My daughter and son entered Brookstown Elementary's gifted program around mid-term, coming from a non-public school setting. I am very satisfied with the services they received and recognized the academic quality right away. We are of a religious minority. The teachers and the staff went out their way to accomodate my children. Allowing children to be comfortable in their own skin and to express themselves promotes self esteem and contributes to student success. Thank you Brookstown for your efforts.”

“Brookstown doesn't do to well in the ratings. What do they know? Brookstown is a great school. I go there in the gifted program and it's wonderful. The teachers are involved and the work is challenging. Nearly everone in my class gets A's and B's. And theres a student tutoring program. The talented program is great. And my friend was in all three. And a lot of people are in two. The principal is great and leads the school wonderfully. Brookstown is wonderful and no one should say otherwise.”
