Robert E. Lee High School Reviews

My son attended a local magnet school 9th - 11th and now is attending Lee High. It has been a wonderful experience and the teachers are extremely caring and concerned with the students' progress. The school has implement a program called Excel that allows the students to receive extra help during the school day. The student population is very diverse and you get the feeling of a 'real school'. The administrators are on top of everything and the atmosphere is extremely welcoming! Thank you Lee. From a parent that is very involved and informed.

As host parent of exchange students, I enjoyed working with this school. They are helpful with culture needs, as well as those students who are local. I was very impressed with their help.

my son is a 2000 graduate. he is white. played football and took all REGULAR classes. his friends were black, hispanic, aisan, and white. he graduated with honors and was accepted into all his choices of colleges. he is a wonderful adult--contributing to society. he is friends with and respects people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs. thank you lee high!

It's pretty bad when you can CHANGE HISTORY along with your mascot. I don't remember learning about General Robert E. Lee leading the 'PATRIOT' army in to battle during the Cival War. What, if anything are you teaching in the Public Schools these days. Pitiful!

How wonderful you have spent all this time, money, and effort to change the name of your school from the dreaded Rebels. If you had spent one half as much time teaching the basic skills to students instead of the social indoctrination you are so concerned with, then, maybe, just maybe, the United States wouldn't lag so far behind other countries in math test scores who specialize in doing the real job of a school and that is teaching.

This school is pretty bad. I wouldnt send my kids there. Horrible i tell ya, just plain horrible!

I like this school. It's fun and challenging. You never know what is going to happen next.

a school with a'melting pot' of cultural resources within a prodominately white area.neighborhood has not adjusted to the increase in minorities at this school.well known for its diversity within the 'students' in baton rouges school system.needs more parent involvement to increase the overall achievements of students!
